Spleen

Spleen

The Spleen is an important organ for immunity against certain types of bacteria. It also filters the blood from any unwanted cells, and damaged own body blood cells. In some instances, the spleen needs to be partially or completely removed. Minimally invasive laparoscopic surgery minimizes the patient pain, postoperative lung problems, as well as wound complications. This minimizes the hospital stay and overall betters the outcome of the patient.
